MODEL 2531
A300 Leg Press
MORE VERSATILE. MORE EFFECTIVE. SAFER.
A BETTER leg press FOR EVERY BODY.
The finest in American engineering and manufacturing.
Made in U.S.A. with domestic and globally sourced material.

VERSATILITY
A More versatile leg press
Use a variety of training and rehabilitation methods to improve strength, speed, and power — all with one machine.

The Keiser Advantage
Keiser PRT
Conventional Iron
Strength
Power
Speed
Do more, more effectively.
The A300 Leg Press, with Pure Resistance Technology™ (PRT), gives you more training and rehab options. That’s because it’s more effective than iron at a wide variety of speeds.
More effective at faster tempos to improve velocity and power.
Just as effective at slower tempos
to improve strength.

“Others build their machines like tanks. We build ours like aircraft — strong, but very light.”
Pure Resistance Technology™
Low-inertia design makes it more versatile.
Pure Resistance Technology (PRT) drives the design of the A300 Leg Press. We remove as much mass as possible to give you a pure, highly versatile resistance.
“Others build their machines like tanks. We build ours like aircraft — strong, but very light.”

LOW-INERTIA ARCHITECTURE
WE REMOVE ANY MASS WE DON’T NEED.
We engineer the linkages between you and the resistance to have as little mass as possible. With less mass, there’s less inertia and momentum.

PNEUMATIC RESISTANCE
A MORE VERSATILE ALTERNATIVE TO IRON
We use compressed air under digital control instead of iron resistance. It has almost no mass, inertia, or momentum. No matter how fast you move, you can’t throw it and you don’t have to slow it.

VERSATILITY
LOW-INERTIA MEANS MORE WAYS TO TRAIN AND REHAB, MORE EFFECTIVELY.
With almost no inertia, your resistance is more effective and safer at a wide variety of speeds. This gives you more ways to train and rehab.

Dynamic variable Resistance (DVR)
Resistance that matches your strength curve.
On a leg press, you’re stronger at some points than at others. We optimize resistance throughout your range of motion. This makes your muscles work at their maximum potential across that range.

An ascending curve is designed for pushing motions such as a leg press. Resistance increases as you push further.
Ideal Resistance
Muscles work at their maximum potential
We’ve programmed the ideal resistance curve for a leg press into the A300 Leg Press.

Less resistance where you're weakest: On a leg press, you’re weakest at the beginning of the concentric phase. Keiser’s DVR optimizes your starting resistance with lower resistance.

More resistance where you’re strongest: As you continue through the concentric phase, you become mechanically stronger. Keiser DVR increases resistance to match your body’s natural strength curve.

VERSATILITY OF DVR
A Resistance Curve That Keeps Its Shape at Any Speed
Inertia and momentum distort iron’s resistance curve. The faster you go, the more it changes. Thanks to Pure Resistance Technology, Keiser’s DVR will match your body’s ability to produce force, no matter your speed or resistance setting.
Industry-leading lifespan and uptime.
Made in U.S.A. with domestic and globally sourced material.

Unilateral Movement
Train, Rehab, and Assess Left and Right Sides Independently
On the A300 Leg Press, the left and right sides move independently and provide separate data for each side.

Prevent unilateral compensation. Prevent the stronger limb from compensating for the weaker limb.
Repair unilateral imbalances. Train and rehab left and right sides independently. Improve symmetry of strength, power, velocity, endurance, and size over time.

Prevent collateral damage with almost zero shock loading.
Iron's inertia and momentum may cause repeated stress on joints and connective tissue. Keiser’s Dynamic Variable Resistance eliminates that so your training is far less likely to cause injury.

Avoid repeated shock loading: The A300 Leg Press has virtually none of the sudden excess forces you get from iron.
Protect your joints: With almost no shock loading, you avoid much of the risk to joints and connective tissue over time.
Less pain when you work out: Without the shock loading of iron, you get all of the benefits of strength training with significantly less pain.

POWER DISPLAY
Test. Track. Motivate.
The Power Display shows your level of effort with real-time power data (force x velocity) in watts.

Real-time Feedback
Motivate users with data that indicates their level of effort during training and rehabilitation.

Rep Counter
The Power Display makes exercise easier by keeping track of your reps for the current set.

Power Metrics
See your peak power for the set and the percentage of peak power for each rep in real time.

Maximum Power Testing
The Power Display can tell you the resistance level at which you generate the most power with a six-repetition test. This can be an important new metric in any power or velocity program.

Optimize resistance
Choose the precise resistance for your goals.
With one-pound or one-kilogram increments, ranging from 0 - 1200 lbs / 0 - 545 kg, it’s easy to find the right resistance level.

Optimize your resistance level. Set resistance at the precise level best for you and your goals.
Don’t wait for the next ten pounds. Continually challenge muscles with frequent, small increases in resistance.
Ideal when training for speed and power. Small increments are an important tool when training fast with lower resistance.
Perfect for rehab and reconditioning. One-pound increments and a starting resistance of zero help find the right resistance level to recover from injury or a deconditioned state.

Thumb-button Resistance Control
Change resistance on the fly during exercise.
Change resistance at any point during a rep with push-button convenience and digital precision.
Isometric overload made easy. Get into an isometric position, then increase resistance for isometric training.
Eccentric overload made easy. Increase resistance after the concentric phase of a rep.
Get rehab patients into position before adding load. This makes it easier to determine what resistance level the patient can achieve in tiny increments.

Model 2531
A300 Leg Press
Engineered to Perform. Built to last.
Innovative engineering. Solidly reliable. And simply more versatile.

THE LARGEST MUSCLE MASS IN ONE MACHINE
The A300 Leg Press was designed with a higher foot plate to increase hip flexion and decrease knee flexion. This maximizes glute activation by causing them to work harder at the beginning of the movement. The decreased knee flexion reduces shearing forces, preserving the health of your knees. The separate foot plates allow you to train each leg independently, the way we function.
Proven Durability. Lowest Cost of Ownership over time.
Made in U.S.A. with domestic and globally sourced material.
